As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for our clients across various industries. Working within a collaborative team environment, you'll leverage your expertise in CATIA and mechanical design principles to create efficient and high-quality components and systems.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Designing and developing mechanical components and systems for various industrial applications using CATIA to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings
• Defining and applying dimension chains and functional quotations to ensure precision and compliance of designs
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and engineering to ensure feasibility and manufacturability of designs
• Performing analyses and simulations to optimize product performance and reliability
• Participating in design reviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for design processes and methodologies

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in CATIA and associated CAD tools with demonstrated ability to create complex 3D models and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Experience with industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical design
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
